Getnet México, a PagoNxt company, the global acquiring franchise developed to create opportunities for merchants worldwide, and in a joint venture with Pacto, the all-in-one platform for restaurants and bars with integrated payments, launched Getnet Restaurantes powered by Pacto.
Following up on the agreement announced in October 2022, the bundled product for automated payment processing and point of sale system (POS) for restaurants and bars has hit the Mexican market.
After a successful three month pilot with restaurants in Mexico City and Baja California, the Getnet-Pacto partnership integrates the powerful all-in-one POS solution from Pacto: Pacto POS; with automatic payment reconciliation and on-site mobile ordering capabilities, powered by Getnet’s cutting edge smart bank terminal. This coupled communication between the POS and the payment method gives back valuable time to owners and managers by avoiding manual reconciliation and providing real time reports; not just on sales but inventory, supplies and tips as well. This seamless automatization is the signature feature of Pacto POS.
Among other unique features Pacto POS offers bill splitting capabilities, including different means of payments between credit, cash, and digital wallets. The bundle allows large parties to cover their expenses as they see fit; along with the dynamic menu functionalities, which brings the Order & Pay concept to the Mexican market. Evolving the static QR code menu and placing it as a first party asset for on premise restaurants, by driving 3x more orders, which naturally reflects on the business revenue, with a 20% increase in average ticket and 2x in tips for servers.
Getnet Restaurantes powered by Pacto solution is unique to the market, with no hidden fees and monthly subscription charges. The merchant only pays for the bundle via a per transaction fee, rather than a dozen software as a service vendors.
Getnet Restaurantes, powered by Pacto bundle solution, is already available nationwide, with a stated goal of 1,500 new restaurants and bars by the end of 2023.
