UBS Wealth Management USA said it launched an iPad app to enable its clients to manage their investments on the Apple mobile device.

The app incorporates with new features that include net worth tracking, spending analysis tools and the ability to visualize financial milestones. Clients can also view account information and pay bills.

UBS officials told Mobile Payments Today that the app is designed to deliver a "total wealth experience" to its clients.

"It makes it easier for them to take care of the items they already do digitally today -- reviewing their accounts, transferring funds and paying bills," Kraleigh Woodford, head of digital client experience at UBS Wealth Management USA said via email. "The app also expands on these capabilities, providing new financial management tools to help them track their net worth and cash flow.”

Woodford said the iPad app, the company's personal management tools and UBS Advice Advantage are just the start of a series of digital enhancements from UBS. The investment bank plans to offer apps for iPhone as well as Android tablets and phones, according to a source familar with the launch, however a specific date was not provided.
