Brazilian fintech, EBANX, will be Uber's exclusive partner for payment processing of PIX, Brazil's instant payment system controlled by the country's Central Bank. This will be used for Uber rides requests and Uber Eats orders..

Brazilians will be able to pay for their Uber rides and Uber Eats orders with PIX, and EBANX, through its company EBANX Pagamentos Ltda., that offers local payment processing in Brazil.

The partnership between Uber and EBANX for payments with PIX is an addition to the already existing integration of the two companies for Uber Cash in Brazil, which started in 2019.
