SpotOn Transact Inc., a software and payments company, has acquired Seatninja, a reservation management company. Seatninja will now be known as SpotOn Reserve as part of the agreement, according to a press release.

With SpotOn Reserve, restaurants can offer direct reservation capabilities through their own platforms.

SpotOn Transact also provides other restaurant technology services such as online ordering, contactless ordering and payment, according to the release.

"Our clients, and businesses nationwide, are having to adapt how they run their businesses," Zach Hyman, co-founder of SpotOn, said in the release. "We've long admired what the Seatninja team has been building and feel that integrating their software into our product suite will give restaurants nationwide the tools to streamline their operations."
