Pay-at-the-table tablets coming to Red Robin locations this year

Ziosk, which makes what it calls the world's first ordering, entertainment and pay-at-the table tablet, announced last week its partnership with Red Robin Gourmet Burgers to bring its tabletop tablets to Red Robin restaurant locations across the U.S., according to a press release. The rollout is expected to be implemented in late 2015.
The Ziosk is a 7-inch tablet that is designed to enhance the guest experience by giving Red Robin guests the ability to pay when they're ready, order refills, play interactive games, enroll in the Red Robin Royalty loyalty program and redeem rewards. The Ziosk tablet also enables guests to provide real-time feedback on their experience at the end of the meal, according to the announcement.
"Red Robin is the leader in gourmet burgers and with their unwavering commitment to the guests they serve they are an ideal partner to offer their guests the convenience the Ziosk provides," Austen Mulinder, CEO of Ziosk, said in a statement. "We are very proud to work closely with Red Robin to bring the added convenience and enjoyment the Ziosk offers directly to their guests' tables."
Ziosk has been working with three Red Robin franchisees for as long as two years.
Ziosk claims it currently has 95 percent of the installed tabletop tablet market, with more than 75,000 tablets across 50 states in more than 1,350 restaurants.
