MBNA launches card services app

MBNA has launched a smartphone card services app to help customers manage their credit card accounts while on the move.

"The new app will help customers stay up-to-date and in control of their credit card account wherever they are and whatever the time," Michael Donald, business development and marketing executive at MBNA, said in a news release.MBNA smartphone app

Donald said MBNA is aware its customers want a greater capability to service their credit card accounts while on the go. "We are already planning the development of a range of new functions to enhance the app over time,' he said.

The app will offer customers a range of services, including:

  • Viewing a summary of account information such as balance and payment information;
  • Making a debit card payment;
  • Viewing their PIN;
  • Viewing recent transactions.

The app is available as a free download for iPhone and Android-powered devices from the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android. Customers should search for "MBNA."
