Fiserv signs Minn. bank to mobile banking platform
Tech provider to the financial services industry, Fiserv Inc., has landed another banking client for its Mobiliti mobile banking product. The company announced that Bremer Bank, an $8.1 billion bank based in St. Paul, Minn., will use Mobiliti to power mobile banking, payments and account alerts.
Mobiliti provides banks with a full set of mobile banking options to offer their customers, as well as the ability to connect with the bank via SMS text messaging, mobile browser, and through iOS or Android apps. Customers can check balances, locate ATMs, pay bills and transfer funds.
"Delivering a feature-rich, easy-to-use mobile banking service to our customers is a strategic priority for Bremer Bank," said Bremer Financial Services group president Deb Bauman. "The mobile channel is evolving rapidly and we wanted a partner who could help us meet the demands of our customers while also providing us with operational flexibility and efficiencies."
The Mobiliti tool will integrate with Bremer's existing online banking and bill pay systems, Fiserv said.
"Mobile has grown into its own unique channel with significant consumer adoption," said Erich Litch, division president of digital channels at Fiserv. "Bremer Bank is taking a strategic approach in meeting the evolving needs of its customers."
