Enterprise Mobilization launches QSR mobile ordering app
Canadian-based Enterprise Mobilization, a 10-year-old mobile application provider for QSR operators, has just released its patented mobile ordering solution for iOS, Blackberry, Windows and Android mobile devices.
The "My Favorite Order" app allows customers to create and save their order on their phone in the form of a QR code. When they show their phone to a barcode scanner in the POS system, it automatically uploads their entire order, including preferences, modifiers and toppings. Customers can then pay electronically or with cash. The feature also is PCI compliant.
"Our existing QSR customers have been investing in store locators and nutritional calorie counters that do little more than inform their customers. Besides, 95 percent of the time people know where the store is, and QSR calorie counters typically turn people off of the treats they love," said Mike Feder, CEO of Enterprise Mobilization. "We believe the goal for QSR's should be to increase sales and service. Our patented application is simple and to the point: increase sales by allowing the customer to create and save their order on their phone ... without reliance on GPS and other technologies that may not be turned on."
Enterprise Mobilization can enter a restaurant menu on phones within three weeks and update the menu remotely. Hardware includes plugging scanners into existing USB or serial ports. The app is distributed by QR codes on packaging.
The Enterprise Mobilization application is available with several other apps that can be bundled into one app downloaded, including:
- Loyalty program redemption
- Hooks to social media and messaging
- GPS store locators
- "My regular" saved favorite order for the individual or family
- Banner advertisements for new promotions
