DraftKings, a digital sports betting and gaming platform, has launched a standalone mobile casino app in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, following the June launch of the app in New Jersey.

DraftKings Casino, which features exclusive new games in addition to revamped versions of Blackjack and Roulette, was previously embedded in the DraftKings Sportsbook app in Pennsylvania, but will now offer an exclusive casino app with plans to roll out in additional states.

"While our Sportsbook app caters to sports bettors, the DraftKings Casino standalone app is a more wholesome product designed with the iGaming player in mind," Jason March, vice president, gaming at DraftKings, told Mobile Payments Today via email. "Irrespective of the annual sports calendar, DraftKings Casino leverages our unique, in-house technology and games to offer a best-in-market experience."

The West Virginia launch was done in conjunction with Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races in West Virginia. The apps are available for download on iOS and Android.
