BofA adds Visa Checkout online enrollment
The bank announced that it will preselect customers' eligible Visa cards for enrollment in Visa Checkout directly from online banking.
Bank of America this week announced that it will preselect customers' eligible Visa cards for enrollment in Visa Checkout directly from online banking, according to a press release.
The FI said that it is one of the first banks to integrate its cards into Visa Checkout and provide enrollment directly from its site, according to the announcement.
"This is part of our broader payments strategy to deliver solutions that make financial transactions simple, fast and secure and to provide customers with convenient options," said David Godsman, emerging payments executive at Bank of America. "Consumers are increasingly shopping online, and with the new simplified enrollment for Visa Checkout, they now can spend less time signing up and more time enjoying the benefits of one-click shopping."
"By working together, Visa and Bank of America are bringing seamless and secure commerce to millions of online and mobile shoppers," said Sam Shrauger, senior vice president of digital solutions at Visa. "Bank of America customers can easily sign up to start using the cards they know and trust across any device or browser, as easily as they do in the physical world."
