Amazon In-Car delivery now available to HondaLink Remote connected car customers
America Honda Motor Co. said that subscribers to its HondaLink Remote Service can now access the Key by Amazon In-Car Delivery service, which allows the ecommerce retailer to deliver packages directly into the vehicles of Prime members.
The in-car delivery service is available to owners of Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid and Insight sedans, Passport and Pilot SUVs and Odyssey minivans with a remote service subscription. Customers must live in one of 50 city area markets served by the Key by Amazon service.
"The addition of Key by Amazon In Car Delivery to our HondaLink Remote package of in-vehicle services comes at no additional cost to subscribers, yet another way we are creating value for Honda customers," Daniel Tiet, project leader, connected business development at Honda, said in the announcement.
Customers need to download the Key by Amazon app, log into their Amazon accounts and select the year, make and model of their cars. After making the purchase, customers need to select In-car delivery at checkout.
For a limited time, Amazon is offering $10 Amazon gift cards for making their first delivery.
