AisleBuyer introduces mobile self-checkout app for Android
AisleBuyer LLC, provider of mobile checkout solutions, announced today that its mobile self-checkout application is now available in the Android Marketplace. With this addition, AisleBuyer's app is available to both Android and iPhone users.
Working alongside its Massachusetts-based launch partner, specialty children's retailer Magic Beans, AisleBuyer's app is changing the way consumers check out. While many mobile retail apps facilitate barcode scanning, the AisleBuyer app allows shoppers to check out directly from their mobile device. Consumers can scan barcodes, as well as read reviews, see product information and check out securely directly from a mobile device, without ever having to stand in line.
"With the success of our application in the iTunes app store, confirming the high demand for mobile self-checkout technology, the Android marketplace was the next logical stop," said Andrew Paradise, CEO and founder of AisleBuyer. "As we see more and more shoppers with Android devices, we're expanding the number of people able to use the application to check out at Magic Beans without waiting in line, which is a major advantage as the holiday shopping season ramps up."
Along with being able to scan barcodes, read reviews and product information and securely check out directly from their mobile devices, Magic Beans customers using the app are also saving money. Until December 25th, each shopper that checks out using the app will save $1, $3 or $5 off their purchase, and at least one shopper every day will win their entire cart for $0.99.
